Personalized World: Contemporary Japanese Photography

An exhibition of this year’s International Photography Art Festival “In Focus” photography. This photographic exhibition, supported by the Japan Foundation and the organization of EU-Japan Fest is a collaboration of a curator Egle Deltuvaite and Mikiko Kikuta who presents a couple of years-long festival of photography.

The exhibition of a project called “European Eyes on Japan” and “Between” curated by Mikiko Kikuta presents four artists: Daisuke Nakashima, Shinryo Saeki, Karen Sato and Yumiko Utsu who were born between the 80′s and 90′s and belongs to a generation that grew up after Japan’s economic explosion. People have become wealthy, but at the same time, lost traditions and values. Young people found it difficult to find their place in need of new rules and approach to life.
